CPR

Cardiopulmonary
resuscitation

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving technique that's useful in many emergencies, such as a heart attack or near drowning, It involves chest compressions and rescue breaths to revive an individual whose heartbeat has stopped.

INJURIES AND BLEEDING

Blood loss injuries are dealt with by applying pressure onto the wound, maintaining said pressure using bandages, and raising the injured limb above the rest of the body.

FRACTURES

Fractures are dealt with by stopping bleeding, dressing the wound, and preparing a splint if possible.

BURNS

Burns of different types are treated differently, however, the wound should be cooled, any restrictive clothing should be removed and the area should be covered loosely with gauze or cloth.

RECOVERY POSITION

It is a position unconscious but breathing people are placed in. It keeps their airway clear and open so that they do not choke.

FIRST AID KIT

First Aid kit is essential. For a start, it can save lives. That fact alone is enough to ensure that your establishment has the appropriate First Aid equipment and responders on-site.
